Our Panelists

Above and Beyond

Above and Beyond

This year theme, ‘Above and Beyond’ is trying to call all the players of these two industries to look above and beyond traditional business channels.

For the distributors

They should think on how will they broaden the space for distribution channel by inviting other platforms especially OTT platforms as one of the main player and not as Add-on distribution channel.

For broadcasters

the game has now shifted its focus to subscription which in turn is driven by content. Build digital platform and market them by using premium content available in the channel. And let’s fly above and beyond our traditional streams.

Our partner Tanzania Film Board

We have seen the importance of partnering with CloudsPlus Productions on this event since it promotes business friendly environment.

It exposes our board to direct players so that we can have an open dialogue on the matters that are crucial for the film industry.

As part of our obligation to participate on projects that could spark young and creative minds we urge other entities both public and private to support this forum so that it can bring about change on how we can transform content business as a whole

University of Dar es Salaam

University of Dar es Salaam as the leading centre of excellence has partner with CloudsPlus Productions in the Broadcasters and Distributors forum. This is an opportunity for our students especially in art and media studies to learn direct from the people in the industry. It is a venture where the University will showcase its expertise and share its vast experience in art, film, and broadcasting to the public. We welcome you all to our famous national heritage site, the Nkrumah Hall. At the forum, Talents will meet Education.
